The Zoho App Guide is Launched!

 

For a while now, we’ve been wanting to create a guide that helps our clients navigate Zoho’s many, many apps.

There are other tiered rankings out there, but we often found ourselves “caveating” their recommendations. They seemed more like sales tools than actual user guides, minimizing or downplaying some key limitations to get people in the door.

The challenge, of course, is that every client’s needs are going to be different, so to be fair to our colleagues, their rankings might make sense based on their clients’ experiences.

Our goal was to create a simple, “at-a-glance” guide for those considering a move to Zoho One or those already on the platform who are looking to get more out of it—because let’s face it, there’s a lot!

To pick on Zoho Backstage for a moment: If event management is a core function of your organization, you may want to stick with Eventbrite. That doesn’t mean you have to abandon Zoho, of course. We have clients who use both. But as your consultants, we ought to be clear about that up front.

In other words, for apps at the lower end of this ranking, we prefer a “prove that it works” approach versus a “prove that it doesn’t” one.
