Preferred Partners
When it comes to online applications, there’s a plethora of options.
While we can work with just about any platform, the following are preferred for their mix of ease, value, function, and privacy.
Zoho is a comprehensive, cloud-based business solution.
Compare to Quickbooks, Mailchimp, Google Docs, Salesforce, Hubspot, Zendesk, DocuSign, Zapier…
Seriously, Zoho is an ocean, which is why many of our colleagues specialize in specific app bundles: CRM Plus or the Finance suite. Precisely because it can do so much, you’ll have to customize it, which means you’ll need a partner you can trust.
Squarespace is a drag-and-drop website builder and e-commerce platform.
Compare to Wordpress, Shopify, or BigCommerce.
Wordpress is a dinosaur. Founded as one of the original blogging apps, it had web development grafted on, and it shows. Try Squarespace’s new Fluid Engine and you’ll never go back. Then why do so many people still use Wordpress, you ask? You tell us. We don’t get it either.
Zoom is a leading provider of cloud-based communication systems.
Compare to RingCentral.
Who hasn’t heard of Zoom, right? What you may not know is that once upon a time, Zoom and RingCentral were partners. One focused on telepresence and the other on virtual PBX. Recently, RingCentral saw the writing on the wall and branched into online meetings and messaging. Both are serviceable, but unless you’re reliant on a large outbound calling pool, Zoom will be simpler.
Porkbun is a domain host, meaning you purchase your digital real estate from them and they point visitors to it.
Compare to GoDaddy or Namecheap.
Not only is porkbun cheaper than the competition, offering most registrations for under $10, they focus on domains rather than up-selling you on other services (usually better gotten elsewhere). They even give two free email forwards with your registration. And we really love the name!
Miro is a real-time digital whiteboard that lets remote teams collaborate and inspire as if they were in the same room.
Compare to Lucidchart.
Miro is beautiful, which is an attractive feature for a whiteboarding app. After all, you’re going to share your work with clients. But the main reason we prefer Miro to Lucidchart is the ability to invite non-subscribing client users to a board, where you can collaborate live on designs and process flows.
Semrush is an SEO analysis and keyword research tool that periodically crawls your site and alerts you to issues that may be hurting your search rank.
Compare to Ahrefs or Clearscope.
There’s certainly no shortage of SEO audit and SERP enhancement tools. While Semrush has one of the broader platforms, what really sets it apart is its onboarding process, educational tools, and overall ease of use. Semrush makes keyword research particularly easy.
